Last November 2025, Jordan Kam, a senior in our Aerospace Engineering program, was awarded the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics Student of the Year for 2025 by the San Francisco section. Jordan was previously a member of the Rising Stars in Aerospace program with AIAA, where he published his first AIAA paper. 

Jordan has worked with several mentors from NASA Ames, the Berkeley Artificial Intelligence Research Lab, and Berkeley’s Aerospace Engineering program, including Professor Bayen, Lombaerts, Mueller, and Papadopoulos.
