Switching to College of Engineering to major in Aerospace Engineering (AE) can only be considered for newly admitted Freshman students. Students who have been admitted to another College (e.g. L&S) as Junior transfers are not eligible to switch to the College of Engineering (COE). Change of College to AE will be competitive and on a space available basis. This means that applications for students who meet the minimum eligibility requirements will be reviewed but not guaranteed admission to COE and to the AE major. In addition, please note that many of our engineering courses are reserved for COE students and therefore, it may be difficult for non-COE students to get into courses in order to meet the minimum requirements for consideration. For more details about the requirements, please visit the Change of College website and review the information regarding the process from the Change of College Application page.
